To begin the animation of my story book, Apeollo, I decided to create a story board to help me decided how to edit each scene. This story board, which is my first one of the project is a quick basic plan that will help me visualise each scene. I made sure that scene one was an establishing shot so the audience instantly get a feeling for where the short clip will be set. After that each scene after would be an action shot, each to varying degrees.

Under each scene I wrote notes to aid me even further. This consisted of audio and and how the movements would take place. In some cases they could have been more detailed to guide me even further and give me a clearer understanding of what I wanted.

After getting some feedback on my story board I found one problem was that there wasn’t enough varying shots such as close and extreme close ups.

The next steps of this project will be to create a more in detail story board, so not only I understand whats going on, but other people can gather it clearly also, with the addition of other shots and transitions.
